Day 1: Yangon - Sittwe Mrauk Oo

Morning flight about (1 hour ) over the jungle mountains to Sittwe near Bay of Bangal was once the "capataT'of Arakan. On a simple river boat - the waters o\~ the mighty Kaladan connect Sittvve with Mrauk Oo - where over 500 years ago mighty Rakhine dynastis reigned in great splendour. Accommodation: 3 nights in Mrauk Oo.

Day 2 & 3: Mrauk Oo

The complete excursion of two days that you walk through dark temple corridors under stone squares weitghing tons, you pass galleries full of Buddha figures and mythical creatures surfacing out of the mystic darkness... And you will have to admit, that there are lew more beautiful and more fascinating sites to meet ancient Southeast Asian culture. I Inlbrgettable!

Day 4: Mrauk Oo - Sittwe - Thandwe - Ngapali

After breakfast, return to Sittwe by the same route with the same simple river boat. On the way by Kaladan enjoying the magnificent expanse of the gran landscape. Dolphins might cross your way. white pagodas stand above forgotten hamlets. In the afternoon, short flight to Thandwe on the Gulf of Bengal after short visit to Sittwe. A few minutes drive you reach your dream beach. Accommodation: 3 nights in Ngapali Beach.

Day 5 & 6: Ngapali
Full time leisure at Myanmar's premier beach resort - Ngapali: miles of empty white sand beaches all backed by towering coconut palms, conjure up images of paradise. Intimate resorts offer you the chance to swim, sail and feast on lobster and prawn by candelight as the sun sinks lazily into the Indian Ocean. It is the perfect place to unwind and savour those few precious weeks in Myanmar. Thandwe: the neighbouring town has a large market offering tranditional wares of pottery, basketry and woven goods apart from the usual fresh produce and fish. In fishing villages, the fishermen who moor their boats at a rocky patch of the beach are friendly and happy to show off their catch. Option (May through October): impossible to visit - due to rains, taifuns and giant waves, many hotels close during this season.

Day 7: Ngapali - Thandwe - Yangon

After breakfast, enjoy your morning and farewell to paradise! We leave in the early afternoon. Transfer to Thandwe mini airport and flight again over the jungle mountains back to Yangon.
