Yangon – Nyaung U – Mt. Popa- Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya – Inle Lake - Yangon

Day 1: Yangon Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport our Global Union Express tour guide will welcome you. Visit Shwedagon Pagoda: one of the wonders of the world, Chauk-Htat-Gyi Pagoda (reclining Buddha), Karaweik (Royal barge which is on the Royal lake) and shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott’s Market) for souvenirs, cotton and silk blouses, pants, gems and famous Myanmar handmade slippers. Transfer to Hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan

After breakfast, transfer to airport for Bagan by morning flight. Transfer to hotel for check in and later start sight seeing with the most famous pagodas and temples: Shwezigon (from 11th to 12th century), Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, Htilo Minlo Temple, Ananda Temple (with four standing 10 meters high Buddha Images) and lacquerware workshop. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 3: Bagan – Mt. Popa - Bagan

After breakfast drive to Mount Popa where the twin brothers Nats(spirits) are located and enjoy the most spectacular view from the top!. On the way back view around the country site and return to Bagan for half day sight seeing. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay drive an hour to check in at the hotel. Afterwards, visit Mahamuni Pagoda, outstanding Shwe Inbin Monastery, Shwenandaw Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda, also known as the world’s biggest book for 729 slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Have lunch at local restaurant and continue sightseeing, and sunset at Mandalay Hill over the city. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 5: Mandalay – Amarapura - Mandalay

After breakfast, drive to Amarapura, 5 km from Mandalay. Visit Mahagandayon, famous Buddhist Monastery where thousand monks live and study and continue to 200 years old U Bein teak bridge. Afterwards drive to one of the old cities, Sagaing. Visit the famous Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda, weaving and woodcarving workshop. Have lunch and continue to Innwa(Ava), take a horse-cart to see Mae-Nu Oak Kyaung, Watchtower and Bargaya Monastery. Drive back to Mandalay and overnight.

Day 6: Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya

After breakfast, transfer to airport by morning flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive directly from the airport to Pindaya Cave with thousands of small Buddha images.
Overnight at the hotel in Pindaya.

Day 7: Pindaya – Nyaung Shwe – Inle Lake

After breakfast, drive to Nyaung Shwe and take a boat on the Inle Lake, enjoy full day sight seeing around Inle Lake, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the “Jumping Cat Monastery” and weaving workshop at In Phaw Gon. Overnight at hotel in Nyaung Shwe.

Day 8: Nyaung Shwe – Heho - Yangon

After breakfast transfer to Heho for domestic flight back to Yangon. Enjoy the dinner - buffet and cultural show in Kandawgyi Palace Hotel.

Day 9: Yangon - Bangkok

After breakfast transfer to Yangon International Airport for international flight back to Bangkok.
